Samurai svärdet har vass Klinga och spets Svärdets blad är av rostfritt och mycket starkt Toledo kolstål (grooved high carbon steel). Klingan är sylvass samt med en sylvass spets (svärdet kan slipas och vässas ytterligare då kolstål lämpar sig utmärkt för slipning).
